Unfortunately my Lagun table leg is pinched and doesn’t go up and down very easily. Disappointing as it’s less than a year old and installed properly. Not sure how it pinched, thinking maybe my dog landing on it from the bed. Any recommendations on a replacement? I see a few different versions.

I don’t think a photo will show it but I’ll try at some point when I’m not in moving mode. It does not slide up and down very easily on the bracket is the issue and takes a lot of force.

So to be sure I 'get it'.... the tightening toggle knob is loosened and it is still tight in the channel?

If you removed the tightening bolt entirely are you then able to plastic mallet it upwards to remove? I suspect you might either have debris or perhaps a sliver of metal jammed in the channel. If you can remove it, I would take a small block of wood wrapped in emery cloth (300 grit +) and smooth the flat sides of the metal dovetail. A light coating of a paste wax (car wax) should then allow it to slide? Double check the crimp area around the bolt to see if it is damaged (cracked or split).

Thanks Will try this.

I can remove it but it takes a ton of effort and essentially use my fist as a mallet.
