Late Model Hawk Lower Right Side Toilet Cabinet Storage Size?

Would appreciate dimensions of the opening often used for a porta-potty. This is for a late model Hawk lower floor level cabinet just to the right of the door as you enter. What's the max size of the opening? Looking to fit one of the taller composting toilets like Trelino Evo L which is 16.9" tall x 15.4" deep x 13" wide.

I have a 2021 Grandby front dinette, and it has the same cabinet as a FD Hawk.

Door opening:
16 and 5/8 inches high
18 and 1/8 inches wide

The bottom of the door opening is about 2 inches above the cabinet floor.

Cabinet interior, directions as looking into cabinet:
20 and 3/4 inches high
23 and 3/4 inches wide
18 inches deep, except a 1/2 inch board against the exterior wall makes the top 4 inches 17 and 1/2 inches deep.

The cabinet front wall is 1/2” thick, so the door opening itself has 1/2” extra cabinet depth.

Also remember that most campers will have the “Chevy notch” along the bottom back wall as looking into the cabinet (side wall of the camper) which makes a 45 degree angle between the floor and back wall so your cabinet depth at the floor loses about 2 inches.

Seems like the Trelino might?? be a little too tall to fit the opening without cutting out the lower frame section around the door.

With it being only 1/2” short it’s possible you will be able to angle it through depending on shape and edge rounding, but i doubt it. The same issue exists with the larger Thetford 365 Portapotti. It’s 1/2” too tall to fit. I decided to get the smaller 345 rather than cut the door opening bigger, and I’m glad I did because the smaller toilet capacity is plenty big for us and it’s easier to carry.

Not the nicest picture to request, but can you guys share pics of your “setups” in the camper? Are you “using” them in the camper or only storing there for travel?

i have a Thetford 345 Portapotti. It easily fits in the Grandby Front Dinette cupboard that is just inside the camper door on the bottom right side. We use it in the camper just sitting on the floor facing the door when not at a camp spot, and either use it at camp inside the camper (“EVERYBODY OUT!”) or in a popup shower tent when we choose to set that up. In cold weather I leave it ready just inside the camper door for my wife to use if needed. Turn on the fan to exhaust and open the turnbuckle door and the air exhausts better than any bathroom fan. Did you want a picture of it in the camper in the usable position to gage the space around it?

I even set it up at highway rest area stops for my school-age granddaughter when it’s just us so I don’t have to send her by herself into a public rest area bathroom. It’s very fast to take it out and put it back and can be done from the ground standing outside the door.

Decided on the Trelino M model since we are familiar with composting toilets after having one (Nature's Head) in our Airstream for several years. This should be a good fit for that storage space (14"H X 13"W x 15.4" deep). May even be able to build a slide out tray that rests on the floor but will wait until I have the camper (end of April) to see if that can be done.
