Meteorological Fall 2025

They said we might get up to an inch and half of rain. I figured that was pretty generous but I've already got a quarter of an inch since the rain started and its still coming down pretty good.

Closest official measuring station said 1.2". I'm usually under the official measurement. Still sprinkling.

EEEEEEK! I appreciate the moisture, but…

Looks similar to Hillsboro here on the “wet” side.
Have you “dry” side residents finally paid your fall precipitation bill? :rain:

Fall has just about hit its peak in terms of color here in north central Idaho. If anyone is in the neighborhood, the larch up the Lochsa and South Fork Clearwater rivers would still make for a nice fall drive for another week or so.

Here's a few scenes from the neighborhood over the past few weeks (in the post link and below): Fall in the Idaho Woods – Occidentalist

The larch (tamarack), cottonwood, and and aspen are also putting on a show here. Today the sun was behind the mountain at 3:00, but it was beginning tonight get light around 5:00 AM. It’s a beautiful time of year.

Nice color in your pictures.
