More Bad News From Death Valley

Silly immature boys -- 'cause you know they are boys! Seems like 3 continuous weeks of being on-site to clean up their mess and to warn others not to do the same would put a noticeable crimp in their fun-loving thoughtless outlook on life. They might even learn something.

This type of behavior is being more common now.
Too many people seem to think they can do what ever they want
and no regulations are going to stop them.
Hope someone comes forward with info to catch these idiots.

If the NYTimes link below is correct it may have occurred sooner.

"A biologist for the Park Service noticed the vehicle tracks and plant damage in the remote area on Dec. 26, 2024. The employee specifically documented damage to Eureka dunegrass, which is unique to the Eureka Valley region and is listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act, according to the Park Service."

This has been my position:
Time spent in manual labor at the park of the infraction at their expense.

Bonus:
Public service announcement on social media with a video of their punishment.
