Last month during the Death Valley Rally the temperatures dropped into the 20's a couple nights.
My FWC was not equipped with a heater so it got a bit cold during those evenings. Upon my
return home, I drove out to ATC to discuss a heater install. Marty gave me an estimate on the cost and said it would take about 4 hours to install. I told him to go ahead and order the heater and let me know when it arrived. I set up an appointment for 0800 this morning for the install. I arrived a few minutes late and Marty was waiting for me. He was testing the new heater to make sure it worked OK before it was installed. To make a long story short, the heater was installed while I stood around and got in the way. Marty and Jeff did a great job on the installation in a 13 year old camper, and as promised, I drove out at 1200. On time, and at the agreed upon price. While I was there Marty took the time to show me the proper way to adjust the roof clamps on the camper. Seems mine were a bit tight. If anyone needs work done on their ATC/FWC campers I can’t recommend these guys enough :thumb:. Marty & Jeff..Thanks!

Now I know, you drive a Dodge, you show up late, and you're lazy.

And your point would be???

Deltarat, You are right about Marty and Jeff. I am very pleased to see someone else as pleased with these guys as I am. They provide service to their customers with no BS. John D

Bob,

I was thinking of having the guys do the same to my rig. The buddy heater works great up to about 7000 ft. but after that it doesn't like to lite. Do you mind sharing what they charged ??

Thanks

I completely agree!!!

I have a similar story. We were just getting started on our camping trip to Glacier Falls this summer when I decided to check the heater and realized that it wasn't working...luckily we were going through Sacramento and would be near the ATC shop. I called up at about 10am, talked to Ben for a few minutes and we were on our way.

We stopped in, went to lunch with Ben, probably to keep us out of everyone's way... Ben, by the way...thanks for the burgers. Got back and the heater was replaced and better than new. I live by the ocean and between the salt water and sea air my heater had gotten pretty messed up. Now my heater is sealed and is ready for life in Santa Cruz..

That's service and they will always have my business.

Heater!!

I had a similar experience that I've already shared about heater problems and the guys at ATC fixing it. They are great.

I live by the ocean :cool:and it got rusted to the point of not working. While I was busy stuffing my face they got a new one in and put some extra caulking around the face of the heater to keep as much moisture out as possible.

If you live anywhere near the ocean or where it is moist you should check into that. Just call them and tell them the fixed my heater. I'm sure they will remember. I know Ben will... he had to put up with me at lunch.:D
