Just picked it up yesterday. Its really going to change how we travel and spend time on the road. I came from a Jeep. Gladiator with a simple pop-up topper on it. It was a great truck. It could go anywhere. But it did not have much payload capacity and not much room inside the bed when we were trying to get changed or anything really. I will miss it though.
My fiancé and I went out to the four-wheel camper headquarters in Woodland. I told her that we would look at the flatbed last. I knew as soon as you went inside that we would be blown away and it would make everything else feel small.
And indeed, that happened!
A large expense, but I’m happy with it. Got a mix of some good factory options and then some things I did myself.
It has the interior shower, two batteries, medium size fridge, king size slide out. Black cabinets with the bamboo top. I installed my own Renogy 2000w inverter. And I had my own solar panels I’ll be adding as well.
When it’s all set up, I’ll get some good pictures of the inside as well. We’re taking out on a weeklong trip in just a couple days. A nice little tour of some of the southwest states.
