No photos downloaded yet but the trip goes well.
I started around the 16th of August in Truth or Consequences, NM, my home, headed for Sacramento and had a nice visit with Ted (in this group), and got the sideliner replaced by ATC. Decided against an awning due to the cost of the sideliner....(more than I had anticipated due to a faulty memory chip in this old man).
North to Bremerton, WA with several visits with old friends along the way.
I am now headed east to Missoula, MT to pick up my wife, Kit, from a fire job there and we will spend a couple of weeks heading back to the Santa Maria, CA area where she will do another 2 week job on the fire there. I will head home by myself and will do a more complete report of the trip with photos when I get there. I am finding that in a lot of areas I have been in Washington state, coffee shops and things like the ferry system are starting to charge for WiFi access....what does that mean for the rest of the country....this is the first I have seen of it. I am happy to report that my Mazda with the Ranger II shell is getting 17 MPG on the highway fairly often! Yahoo! Better than any truck I have had with a gasoline engine.
More later.....happy trails,
Brian
