Off to Alaska

I am about ready. Next Wednesday I drive up and pick the wife up off the flight from Frankfurt then head straight to Valdez Alaska. Should take us 14 hours to get to Valdez. So will do the trip in 1 1/2 day. Have a boat rented for 6 days, so plan to have the Fleet full of coolers with frozen salmon and halibut on our return.. Should be home on the 21st August.
If anyone is planning still to come north or go south Highway 37 the Stewart Cassiar Highwayt is closed because of a 30,000 acre fire. The road is open intermittently but can not count on that right now. Alaska Highway is fine.

thanks. This is about our 20th trip to Alaska. Lucky it is not far to go. but is first time we have had a truck and camper. always roughed it before..
