Thanks for posting. I see my old Fleet model, I did sell it for $2500 back in 2001. I liked the back door because it had a window that you could open. Two halves that would slide up or down. You'll notice the way the door opened into the heater, well that toasted some window screens when the heater kicked on:eek:

So, was the late 70's, early 80's, "Fleet" the same model as the later Rangers?
I think I saw a Fleet model for sale on craigslist a little time back. I'm still looking for the model to fit my Jeep Comanche LB. It has the 7.5 ft. bed. There is only 44" between the wheel wells. Maybe the fleet is for me? Thanks...

Hi captainkettel,

The Fleet model was wider than the Ranger. Ranger is a bit longer. The liner was thicker with a thin insulation within. Problem was in the rain. There was no storm flaps to keep the water out. When it rained water would come inside and have to have towels. Water would also soak between the liners and take long time to dry out. Sleep many nights not poped up!

I think if you did find one you would want the liner replaced with the current designs. Also mine had a lot of partical board and was swollen up. Replaced peices that needed it.

But still had great times in it, wish I still had that rear door.

That's great! I want the Wikki-up. What a great Expo vehicle. 4X4, most likely a 350 engine, full camper. Somebody needs to make something like that on the Dodge Sprinter.
Thanks for posting the brochure.

FWC + IH Scout II

Nice. Some cool rigs there.

I would love to find a FWC for my IH Scout II. I probably couldn't afford to pay what it's worth, but if any one has one that wants to bargain I would love to hear from you.
