My wife who in1971 was my girlfriend heard about Saline Valley said she wanted to experience
the "hot springs", of course i was willing so we loaded up our 1968 vw van and had a great time.
It was thanksgiving 1971.
Since then we have gone back off and on over the years.
So here it is 50 years later and i'm asking my wife what she would like to do for her birthday
which is November 15 and to my surprise she says she wants to spend this thanksgiving
back at Saline!
All i can add is that i have been one lucky man to have a wife that still looks forward to our
backcountry trips.
So if your in Saline around Thanksgiving stop by and say hi, we will be in our white Tacoma/with topper
