Perhaps we will do the Sonoran Desert Traverse, as described by Chet at the start of this thread ( which I am sorry to have hijacked!) with the ability to take our time, and perhaps explore some of the offshoots mentioned in the Overland Trail Guide which Chet linked. Thanks, Chet!
