wild rocks. Any geological insights on those?
Vic
If this is Madagascar, we called them the pinnacled limestone. A band miles and miles long, eroded by deep vertical narrow gorges and millions of very sharp upward projecting knife like serrated edges. We accessed the tops by helicopter, which seemed the only means possible.

Taken from Timp Point, North Rim of Grand Canyon. The Forest Service had been doing controlled burns and they created these rivers of smoke.

A bit off topic, but I ran into a friend of yours in a Bundutec about 3 weeks ago. He said he had just left you in Idaho, a few days before.

Back on topic… that is a stunning photo! Well captured!

Don mentioned he had met someone who knew me but I wasn't sure who it was. Pleasure meeting you, virtually anyway.

This was taken yesterday at the Monterey harbor.
These are not the our local population of Seal Lions.
That "fake" climate change has brought 1000s of
non local creatures to our area.
Back during car week in August they took over
Del Monte Beach by the Coast Guard station. In theory
they would leave in a few weeks.Well it's been many many more
weeks and they are still around.
It's nice to be able to view them at a very close distance.
