Fritz the Wonder Dog and I had a nice outing this morning, purportedly to chase chukar, but even with good conditions… not a bird to be found. On the plus side, it was beautiful. The Wallowas were snow capped, the sky was blue, and the temperature was perfect.

i flushed some chukars up on the rim of hells canyon, near our campsite. they must have flown a half mile down canyon on their way outta there...

I looked up just in time to see a full moon emerge from behind the clouds. Looks like a super moon.
