Back in ancient history I had an '85 Grandy with the luggage/boat rack and used it to haul enough siding to build a small shed. Been trying to recall it's dimensions but there were probably at least 6, 4x8 sheets.

I also tried researching internet and could not locate any specific weight. I’m going to hold it at 100ish lbs max until I get more info. Keep any info coming in I will report back if I find any news.

Received this from FWC, but I’m only using the rear part. I think I’ll keep it less than 75lbs? The evenly distributed part scares me.
Anyone find more info pass it along.

“125 lbs when evenly distributed across the front and rear boat rack”

Received this from Chad at All Terrain Campers, makes scenes did not think about how it was attached to roof I was concerned about bending roof damage etc. Could see wind resistance concerns if containers were tall like the 27 gallon ones. Hope this helps someone, maybe stop an issue.

Hi Roy,
Your rear rack is held on by six #10 screws. I wouldn’t put more than 50-60lbs on it.
