I do not think I mentioned earlier but, take careful thought when attaching the center hinge and the locking bracket frame. If you install the rivets in the wrong direction the will interfere with the panel when folded
 
This is really good stuff Jim! I love the jigs for the spring hinge. Really nice job. Maybe DD can make a spot for fixes like this so its easier for folks to find.

There is a fine line between engenuity and laziness. I like to keep one foot on each side so I don't get confused or lost ;) :LOL: :oops:

Man, I sure hope I never need to do mine because even with pics and commentary I have no idea what you're talking about. At least my engineer type friend would figure it out. I'm kinda handy but not that much.
 
Something I did not mention, when attaching the elastic I doubled it and then left it long to make it easier to reach for attaching to the panels. I also used aluminum washers with the rivets because I could not find rivets with large heads like FWC used.
