UPDATE - its now 42 days after the wreck
Second check from the insurance company arrived. This was the payoff for the Ranger. Still waiting on the check for emergency expenses, which were all approved, but the "check's in the mail" according the the adjuster. Still haven't agreed on personal property amount yet.
My medical bills (ER, X-rays, MD visit, & PT) are being paid directly to the healthcare facilities, the big healthcare system (BCM) wasn't pleased waiting for the money, they emailed me stating I had to pay them and get reimbursed citing their policy that they don't bill auto insurance companies, so I said I would be happy to submit the bill to the auto ins company for them and tell the the Ins Co to pay BCM directly, which I did. They weren't happy, but I emailed them that had been fine with all the other providers and my policy was not to pay for something that someone else was responsible for.
side note, isn't it amazing that big companies think they can unilaterally make policies and individuals can't.
Anyway, the Ins company's medical adjuster has been very easy to work with.
