Have you ever wondered how strong the roof are on a 4WC?
A tree fell on ours while soaking at a hot springs, and it still opened up.
It took a big hit piercing the skin in several places, crushing the roof frame in the corner, broke the wood for the rear support, and left the vinyl in tact.
It was able to open and latch shut allowing us to get home.
I always camp under trees but I will not in the future.
Overall I am impressed at the strength of the camper. Any other camper would have been totaled.
Anyone have any 1st hand experience in repairing the roof of a 4WC 2003 Eagle?
I wanted to rewire the roof for solar and flood lights, but didn't due to the liner.
Now that it all has to come off, I am looking for advise on what I will run into.
If possible I will do all the work.
