Running light issue

I just put the Four Wheel Camper - shell model - on my Tundra for a spring trip out west. Plugged camper into truck outlet, camper battery is charging from truck, but the running lights on the camper don't come on?? Never had this problem. Can't locate a fuse in the battery box. Seems important as I have a bike rack on the back of the camper and it obscures the brake lights to some degree. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.

I assume you are referring to the clearance lights on the camper sides. The power for these lights is from the truck, through the umbilical to the camper. Check to ensure that it is seated correctly, and there are no damaged wires or corroded contacts.

This may not be relevant for your set up, but my camper running lights feed off a separate wire (green) coming forward from the truck’s license plate lights.

The guy camping right next to me has a FWC Fleet, and carries bikes on the back. He added brake/running lights to the back of his Fleet that are over the bike wheels.

We have a Hawk Shell. The running lights (marker lights) stopped working a month or so ago. I found that there is a fuse, and it had blown. Not sure why it blew, but replaced it and everything works again. It's located in the compartment with other fuses, with the drop down flap door, on the driver's side of camper. It's a separate in line fuse, not on the fuse block with other fuses. Hope this helps. Camper is out with my wife right now, so I can't take a photo, but let me know if you'd like one and I'll send it later.
