Thanks for the concern. I'm about 4 miles west of the evacuation area and didn't even get any smoke or ash until Thursday night. The hills behind my house burned in the July fire so I wasn't too concerned about it getting this far.

I just got back from my post pigfest trip Monday night so it has been an exciting homecoming. From rain and snow in Shasta to 100* in Goleta is a shock to the system. Today was the standard May/June gloom so the fire should be history in a couple of days.
