Saw one on the road

We finally at least had a glimpse of a FWC. We were heading south to Liard Hot Springs, on the Alaska Highway 300 miles north of Fort Nelson, and passed one on a pick up heading north. All we could say was there is one.

2006-7 Tacoma 4 door w/ newer Eagle in Edwards, CO

I've seen numerous older models here in CO...but the shiny Eagle and Silver Tacoma I saw with the wife last night (and she was as excited as I was to see it) @ the Village Market is the first "newer" model I've seen on the road here in the high country of Colorado...

If that happened to be you...that was me in the Hawaiian shorts with my jaw agape and the wife who was yelling "it's so cute!...it's so cute!"

I can see I'm gonna have to keep the camera far more handy from here on out...

I think you'll find that lots of folks have heard about the campers but few have seen one in person. It draws a crowd everytime I have to fuel or settle down at a half way populated camp site. But the best part is owning one.

Robbie - could have been me - black dodge. We spent a night at Laird about the 22nd of June. We've been on the road for 5 wks (7500mi) and only saw one other FWC (met one on the hwy in MT).
