The smell of burning brakes we called the "smell of summer" when I lived in Driggs and drove Teton Pass over to Jackson for work. It was really amazing sometimes how much smoke was produced from those burning pads at the bottom of the pass.

Took a look at your trip report. Magnificent country. The photo of the individual standing on the verge of a long drop made me shiver so hard that I nearly spilled my morning coffee.

Ha, that drop is at the White Crack camp site. I stood there for a photo and wished I had a parachute.
