This is a pic from behind fuse box. Are the 3 unsheathed wires going to the ground (-) or is it the 2 white wires? My guess is the 2 Black wires are positive and the 2 white are ground negative. I suspect that because my heater only runs with Black on + and white on - at AGM under camper couch.

James, this photograph depicts your "Shore Power", so-called. These wires are not energized unless you connect to the jack outside your camper from an extension cord plugged into a 110V AC supply:

WARNING: This box contains potentially lethal voltages if you are plugged in to shore power.

If you do not already know what voltages these wires contain, then I strongly urge you not to experiment with your wiring without having an experienced electrician present.

Respectfully submitted,

Mark W. Ingalls

See marks warning above, that is AC voltage, not DC. As such "positive" and "negative" aren't the same as you might be thinking.

Alternating current vs direct current, got it. I'll just replace that fuse panel and call it good. Thank's for the warning!

Why do you need to replace it?

Just to be clear these black/white lines aren't the same part of the system as the one connected to your battery and the rest of the camper (lights, furnace, etc.)

Woops, sometimes I write in code. I meant to say, I will simply replace (put back on) the Shore Power Cover that I took off to see these wires.
