Great that you got this resolved! Happy camping.
It was a ground wire that was crimped on both sides of a connection however the connection was not a good one according to tech. Ground wire was inside black tubing in photo.Did you get pics? Might be something others want to look at.
Yes I am going to have to take a class in electrical wiring,Another crimp job failure...
A good set of strippers and crimpers is worth the money. I’d also ensure that I’m getting quality splices and terminals. I bought some from Amazon that were not the size they were purported to be.Yes I am going to have to take a class in electrical wiring,![]()
Thank you! Solar topped it off, that is close enough to 100% to go ahead and resync the Victron to 100% (or set it to 99% if you are so inclined). I am jealous of you nearly 300AH. Nice!
Good information, guess I won’t worry, for now! It's possible that the shore power voltage is lower than what your solar charger produces. We switched to a lithium battery, but our charger is for an AGM battery. It takes more than 30 hours to charge the lithium battery with the shore power, and it never quite gets up to 100%. Then again, this may not be your issue at all!
