Propex Propane Heater

Location: Sacramento, California, USA

Description: ProPex
Heatsource 2800
HS0007
not sure on the age but camper it came out of is a 2019

Price: $450 OBO
(prefer local pickup, 15+ pounds, will ship, buyer pays shipping)

no known issues. I purchased a pop-up truck camper with it already installed
but decided to use a different heater setup.
After uninstalling, I did test it again.
Sale includes only the heater, the thermostat control, and the 2 stage regulator.
(power and thermostat wires are already hooked up to the unit. thermostat has a quick disconnect on the wiring)

Yeah, decided to go the more convenient route for the heater. I might have kept the Propex if I had put more thought into a little cleaner install than the as purchased (new to me) build.

For others that may be interested, a video link of the post uninstalled testing.

I'll have to read your Puma build out postings. I have an ATC Panther shell that I "reset" and am doing my own build out now.

Isaac, ski3pin (Monte) has two Bobcat builds that you might find helpful.

Isaac,

I’m interested in your propex for non-RV use, think I could mount this to a portable box and use it to heat my tent? I do high elevation cold weather hunting and I’ve had bad luck staying warm.

My wave 3 catalytic heater doesn’t do much when the weather is below freezing, and with condensation in the tent it’s even worse!
