I guess the controls on the aft bulkhead are for the cargo bay... "Open the pod bay doors, Hal."

Did you notice the Dell laptop bolted to one of the consoles - guess they needed a processing upgrade.

I just flew the space shuttle into Everest...................

The resolution on the Everest Panorama is incredible. We can pick out individual climbers on the route through the Khumbu Icefall (that certainly looks like a deathtrap). Higher up we can pick out high camps and climbers on the way to the South Col. Incredible and what a good weather day!

Second time I've seen the everest one. First time i bothered to look at the base camp. Not at all what I had imagined.

I'm impressed with both images. Humans are pretty amazing. Can't imagine flying the space shuttle and can't imagine climbing Mt. Everest. Well I guess I can imagine it.

It's amazing how many people are on Everest. I never thought about that aspect. Thanks for posting the links.
