Spring Floating and Fish'n

Another wonderful few days on the lake and cozy nights in the camper. Convinced some nice Kokanee to come on board. The meat has the perfect yummy fat to smoke up just right.

I call them Smokenees.

Nice! just getting ready to head out for a week of lake fishing as the rivers are in spate now. Makes me hungry looking at that slab

Delicious indeed! It is the closest I can get to salmon with the season being closed for the last 2 years. They are going to give us 2 days to fish this coming June. I will join to chaos and try to get a pair.
