It poured early this morning. Still raining lightly. I get the dog to the dog park while it was just sprinkling. Lock my keys in the truck. I keep a spare in the camper fortunately. Go inside to get the key and I see water by the stove. Its not a major leak, nothing wet down below but no leak is a good leak. Since I got the TJ the truck and camper have not been under the awning. So I swap the vehicles around and when I get in the TJ there's a big puddle on the passenger side floorboard. I guess it doesn't seal as well as I thought it did after I flopped it. So I've got the electric heater drying out the camper. I'll try and locate the leak after everything dries up. Sopping up the water in the Jeep and I'll try and figure out how the water is getting. Its a Jeep, a little water won't hurt much :) I'm really going to have to think about selling one of the Jeeps. At least the wind didn't bring any of my antennas down. At least I'm not out shoveling snow!

Water. Can't live without it. But I sure do dislike it when it gets where I don't want it. Sorry man.

does the jeep not have one of those rubber plugs in the floor to let water out?

Yeah, water sucks when it gets where we don't want it. Was the top down on the camper?

Yes, the Jeep has plugs. It was pretty easy to dry out. The odd thing about the camper is we've had previous drenching storms and no leaks after those. I'm wondering if maybe I did something when I was installing the new struts. Yes, the top was down. Hopefully its dry enough to investigate today.

Not sure if you installed struts from scratch, or were simply replacing old ones, but the screws that hold the strut mounting points can leak.

Just replaced the old ones. I havent' figured out where its leaking yet but I have identified a few spots I'll reseal. Bad part is some of the moisture got into the lift panel. Not enough that I need to replace it yet.

I almost moved the truck under the awning tonight. Light rain tonight. I resealed some suspect spots and now I'll see if that fixed it. Crossing my fingers.
