Straightening a Twisted Vent?

The stock metal vent on my Bobcat has always been twisted - probably it is an inch higher at one corner at the back. Does anyone know if it can be twisted back to straight or will tampering with it just cause a problem that I can't foresee? I'd like to get it closeable if I could. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Murr
