The Wildlife Photography Thread

I'm better at taking photos of rocks because they don't move, but this bird stayed still and posed. Can I get an id, please? This was May 2th at 9400 feet in the Sierra Nevada. It is gripping dwarf willows along a stream.

We spend a lot of time in SE Oregon. Over the last few years, we have not seen many snakes. This year is really the exception. I found this big boy on a hike and got this image from 4 feet. He was plenty PO’d and made sure I heard all of his 7 buttons. The next day I found his brother on another hike near an old rusted out BLM water trough. This must be the year of the rattlesnake. Be careful out there !!
