Late May or early June. Thinking about hitting the Grand Canyon and other spots along the way :)
Any ideas on places to see and overnight?
Have an astronomy event at Bryce but want to take advantage of the trip.
Bundutec truck camper on a F250 4WD :)
Been a while since I've been on. Some changes kept me away but now I'm back :)
Thanks for any help!

There's a nice Utah SP 10 or so miles east of Bryce. Kodachrome Basin SP.
It's a nice quiet place with clean sites. You can also make reservations.
There are some photos of it in my blog. From 2013 trip.
Nice to see you back aboard.

Oh man. You are heading to the jackpot area. So so so many places to see. By early June however, both Bryce and Zion will be pretty full of people so go prepared for that. Also be prepared for higher temps in some of the lower areas. Bryce is pretty high, I think over 8,000' altitude, but some of lower areas like south end of Zion will be pretty warm. Grab iOverlander, will tell you where you can boondock, and where the pay campsites are. We found a nice away from everybody spot a little ways northwest of Bryce...heres the pin:

Several places along there to boondock.

The reason for the summer date is an Astronomy Conference late June. I'm just taking advantage of the long trip to see stuff I've never seen before! I have AC in the truck and a big Bluetti Battery box that can run it for several hours should it get horrible but I am hoping it's not too bad :)

Hope you have a lot of time! There are so many places to see and do in that area, lots of places to boondock, back roads of Capital Reef are amazing, Moab is super, Canyonlands, Arches, Grand Staircase, Vermilion Cliffs, Escalante, Highway 12 to Torrey, Burr Trail Road. You could hit Four Corners, Monument Valley, Bears Ears, Mesa Verde, there is so much to see and do. Great area!
