The Historian
This is a series of videos taken during trip I took April 9-14, 1999 with author Alan Patera. George Huxtable, then president of the Death Valley Hikers Association, tagged along for the first three days.
We started in eastern Death Valley, worked our way through a few historic sites near Las Vegas, up into the wilds of the Meadow Valley Wash, up into central Nevada to visit a few more ghost towns before wrapping things up in Tonopah.
These videos were created from my raw footage for a long defunct forum and focus on specific historic locations or those within close proximity to each other. The videos in no particular order:
