Truma heater blew fuse

So, the TVMS has this programmable feature? And the TVMS "talks" to the Isolator? Pretty cool. Still wondering why the battery voltage goes to 11.5 or lower when the heater kicks on. Might need fatter wires? Also, which battery is it monitoring? I suppose it should monitor both sides and disconnect when it hits that threshold. I can understand that they would not want to lower the threshold any more than 11.5V is already pretty low.

I'm glad you got it figured out and are warm now!

Firstly, thanks Vic! You have been very generous with your time here. The TVMS is programmable. Since changing those settings this afternoon the heater has run flawlessly. The batteries in this Fleet model (this year) come with two Ex-G27 132ah lifePo by Expion. Apparently they are good and I certainly can't wait to test them out. Again many many thanks!

Glad I caught this. We picked up a Hawk a few weeks ago with the Redarc TVMS dual lithium and the Truma. We are planning heading out west for a month next week and other than just basic testing to make sure everything works I haven’t done any extensive tests. After reading your thread I fired up the Truma and I’m letting it run for a while. I really appreciate you keeping us updated.

Thanks and goodluck! The heater ran and then stopped. I have realized that I maybe too quick updating this post.

The latest....Nick at Redarc helped me troubleshoot my most recent isolator issue a few days ago. Redarc have been incredible to work with.
I want to wait a wee while before I update the community here. Fingers crossed!
