The stupid was strong in these two yahoos. A year in prison just may make them, and others, think a little.

3 years would have made a better impression...... Plus 1 year community service in the parks....

Good conviction but as others stated, a longer term and maybe hand scrub the paint off with a toothbrush for 4-5 years in the middle of summer with people watching would have been better... I have no empathy for people that do this kind of stuff.

Glad they found them (not exactly tough) but in spite of the US Attorney’s statement, those sentences are a “slap on the wrist”.

That’s wasn’t just vandalism that was total desecration! The punishment should have been more, community service, a hefty fine and jail time….?
