Wandering from Tennesse to Alaska 2023

I actually am camped across the bay from Seward near 4th of July Beach. someone from another forum offered me this spot.

I'm using someones Starlink now, it seems to be good for forums, my bank and CC are still extremely slow on it.

I didnt go into Seward today, I saw a cruise ship in town and spent the day walking dogs and fishing. I'll try to catch the bakery on the way out.

Petersville rd is a beautiful spot, the road turns into more of a trail than road and is severely potholed and still has some of the corduroy logs from the 1920's it goes to and past a goldpanning area and I did find a few flakes before my back hurt too much

Thanks for the latest batch of photos.
Great shots. Nice Denali photo. The rangers say that over
70% of the visitors don't see the mountain on their visit.
On our tow visits we got to view the mountain almost all the days.
What a beautiful sight.
Thanks for posting.

Wow I am way behind. I ran in to a bit of an issue. I am limited on hot spot data. I went over the limit so my phone as a hot spot was useless.

so I will dump a bunch of pictures, Please comment or ask questions.

Nice salmon!!!!! If you are still in Homer swing by Renn Tolman's boat shop. He passed away in 2014, but I think his cousin is carrying on the tradition and still building the iconic skiff. Snap some photos! I've always wanted to see the shop. I have built a couple skiffs using his plans. Simple but extremely seaworthy, awesome boats.

Thanks for the latest dump of photos. Looks like you photographed some of the same places as
I did in our last trip 2016. Enjoyed seeing some of the sights again.
Thanks for posting. Looks like you got some great fishing in.
Post when you can.
Enjoy your trip.
