We took a pour through water filter Britta with us on a couple trips. Did not make much difference, so we paid more attention to clean, tasty water sources. Have not filtered for about 4 years now.

Giardia apparently needs a 1 micron filter. I vaguely remember my old one being a 5 micron filter. Ordered this one campingworld Clear2O RV and Marine Inline Water Filter. Time to replace it anyway may as well filter as much as possible.

I usually carry bottled water for coffee but its nice to be able to safely drink the water from the tank. Only the tap on the sink though. The rest of the system just gets a charcoal filter.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm debating running a RV portable three filter to fill the tanks, then something on the back end, or else the table top reverse osmosis water filter. I'm on the no plastics kick, I think someone else posted on this site how PFAS and such is such an endocrine disruptor. I've seen folks say the water pressure crashes with an inline filter and I'd like to avoid blowing lines or melting down the pump by cranking it.

I have a gravity feed backpacking water filter. When camped I make a gallon or two of filtered water for drinking and cooking.

Hard to get away from micro plastics.
It's in everything we eat.

I edited my post above. The filter is actually 0.5 microns. The water tastes great.
