Water tank vent slosh!

I am noticing that when I pull into camp there is a substancial amount of water that has come out the vent of my water tank and is now all over the side of the truck combined with road dust making a nice mud pie. I have tried to find a inline check valve no no avail. Any ideas as to curb the sloshing? I was even thinking of putting a inline fuel filter like what we used to stick on the old air cooled VW's.

Thanks.
Jeff

I had the same problem on my last trip -- It looked like I was 'leaking' water for the first half of the trip. I didn't try and think up a solution other than not filling the tank as much.

Just fill it a little less. This is only going to happen if there is water standing in the hose that connects to the tank.
