Whats a good portable propane camp stove?

I'll report more after putting it through it's paces. I have no idea about the BTUs using either the original white gas or this conversion, but my test run of lighting it from the propane tank produced a strong flame on both burners.

There are many nice, newer stove options out there, but ya gotta love these old workhorses.

That looks great. I’d be interested in a report about how well it works. I gave daughter Kate the stove and lantern we used when the kids were small. They came from my parents.

I did the propane conversion years ago. Works great. Colemans are great on propane. You can pick an old gasser and convert it for far less than any other stove. Only is issue is the bulk.
