Winch Bumper

Hello All,

I traded my 01 Chev gasser for an 07 Chev Diesel last week and I m in the process of swaping parts from the 01 to the 07. It's been a goal to equipt my newer truck with some recovery options including a winch with the money from the sale of my 01.

The question I have is are there a few companies out there that offer a light, strong winch bumper that do not look outragous? To me it seems the aftermarket front bumpers offered add about 6-8 inches in length in the front and are very bulky looking. I ve looked at Trail Ready bumpers only on the internet and they look To Me the best out of the group.

Chevy Owners what are you running up front to run a winch?
