You know you're a geezer when.......................

I can still taste them.
Yuck taste, but it was fun.The last "stamps" that we used were from Sharon's aunts cigarette
packs. We cashed them in for some baby things. At the time our daughter was just a newborn.
Time flies (47 years).
But as a kid I remember the S&H stamps we would get at the stores in Philadelphia.
Deezerdom is fun.

Just home from father-in-law's 90th birthday. His family is known for good humor. One of the gifts he got was this.

More geezer thoughts. Fond memories of taking long drives on back roads to anywhere ‘just because’…before gas costs, climate knowledge, etc. in my ‘56 Oldsmobile I inherited from Grandma, What a time we had.

Those are happy geezer memories! :)

When my first wife and I married, I rented a two bedroom cabin on a 40 acre ranch backing up against forest service land for $90 per month. Gas was around a quarter per gallon. We could buy a week's groceries at the store 35 miles away for $15. We had two cars insured; her 1967 VW Beetle, my 1961 Cadillac convertible. I made $1.25 per hour.

Oh how I remember those days too! I thought it'd be really something if I lived in a $100,000 house. Now I do! :)
