Number one on my list Johnson Crossing Lodge.  Ask Bill to make you a cheeseburger..

I have not had one but am told by many that Bill's cheeseburgers are the best on the highway.

The fresh sandwiches which are not expensive are the best we have had on the highway.

There is an extensive sandwich menu.  The board behind the counter lists all the ingredients.. We just pick a type of bread, meat filling, an say add all the rest.

Also very good baked goods.. cinnamon buns, turnovers etc..

For cinammon buns and other baked goods I think that Jakes corner is better..

Can not go wrong at either one of the lodges.

Had lunch recently in Whitehorse just off front street at a little hole in the wall restaurant, Bridges Cafe  It is operated by people with disabilities.  Wonderful food and service..

At the river end of main street.  go left to strickland street which is four blocks.  Just around the front street stricland corner hides the restaurant..  The restaurant is in the Challenge building.
