Nice form by that angler!  Looks like Idaho plates but I don't know where that river is.

Beautiful country! Would love to learn how to fly fish one day.

It’s not difficult. Pick up a complete outfit from someplace like Cabelas or a local small shop ($70-100), a copy of Sheridan Anderson’s Curtis Creek Manefesto, tie a piece of yarn on the tapered leader and practice in the yard for a couple hours. Then go fishing! The Manefesto is a funny, well written cartoon book, that is probably the easiest way to learn fly fishing. It looks like there is a free download pdf for it.

Don’t let the elitist crowd convince you that it’s difficult.

Ditto on the easiness of fly fishing.

It just takes some practice and patiences .

You don't need to spend a ton of money to get a start.That will come once you get "hooked"
