Did a bit of Moab 2 weeks ago ourselves;

And a really cool state park in Nevada that we had completely to ourselves;

I'm in Nevada, but new here. Which state park? Looks awesome.

Hi Pawleyk,

I believe it was called Lahontan State recreation area which had many access points.

Off the beaten path which is a good thing.

Really great time at the Expo.

Stan and all the 4WC folks were awesome.

The campground was a great thing in the crowd chaos of the show so another plus.

Hi Pawleyk,

We stayed there for a night last year in Sept or Oct. There were a few other campers but it was pretty sparse. You can camp on the reservoir beach there, which is kind of nice. We didn't have a fire because we weren't sure about the rules and there were no official firepits on the beach (and no official sites, just a few bathrooms scattered along to serve each stretch of the beach. Caught a dinky hybrid striped bass from the shore as the sun went down. Had dinner and failed at catfishing, fell asleep in my chair right at the water's edge. When we were leaving we drove over to the main day use area and used the showers there. There were also some cool sites down along the river, but there were some suspicious folk there, so we ended up on the beach, which turned out great.

I am planning a Four Wheel Camper purchase and have been scouring the web for photos while I wait to order mine. I did not see a photo thread here so I thought I would start one. Post up photos of your FWC, old or new, exterior or interior, close up or far away. (Also paintings, drawings, digitized images.) If it is a FWC and you think somebody would enjoy seeing the photos post them. As I do not have a FWC camper yet, here are a couple that have inspired me.

And here is an idea of what my rig will look like with a FWC.

Hi. I can’t see the pictures as it’s just a box with posed image but no photo. Am I doing something wrong.
Regards Nocturnal.

Good trip to NM with a buddy. It was his first time with his, new to him, 1983 FWC... he loved it and is hooked :) He and his twin boys loved it. My dog Sydney always loves our trips ;)

Great dog shot!... campers and dog pals. We leave Thursday for 3 weeks in the Canadian Maritimes...with 18 month Lucy Rose... a herder...high energy! We did an 8 day with her at 6 months so she may recall routine.....nah. I have her bed ready same spot... I put screens on the turnbuckle doors to keep open for her.

Just returned from 2 weeks roaming around Northern Vancouver Island. This was probably my favorite campsite I found. Elk Bay rec site north of Campbell River. 45 minutes down a logging road to access it, so wel worth searching it out. 20190714_123936.jpg
