I was only able to make it up for the day, but I had a great time meeting everyone, seeing their rigs and eating some really awesome food.  I want to thank everyone for sharing all of their ideas with me and welcoming a newbie into the fold.  It was very nice to be able to finally put a face to all of the names; you're a great bunch of folks.

I tried to attach a few of the photos I took while I was there, but my files seem to be too large.  Maybe the gallery will let me post them there.

Thanks again everyone.

We had a great time. Did not take a lot of pictures but did get a few and put in my gallery here. If anyone who was signed up did not get a WTW Meadow Lake 2014 sticker send me a PM and I will make one for you.

Was great seeing everyone. Great attendance. We had a lot of help with the firewood.

The dogs all got along quite well.

This cabin sits a quarter mile from the lake. Has a stupendous view.

My map showed the road going to Fordyce Lake. Wish I'd known it was gated and doesn't go all the way to the lake before I attempted it.

The walnut pies were awesome.

The rest of the feast wasn't too bad either.

More to come.

There were other things to do besides eat and chat. Some of us visited the cemetery.

Easy to get some altitude and look around. Ski3pin could identify this lake.

Its always tough to figure out what Ted is up to.

Yeh Craig that "cabin" is the Cal.special fixer upper.

It's fun to rummage around old cemetery's.

Keep posting pics.

Thanks

Official count is 25 rigs. Of course, Groovy Dad's camper is still under construction but good enough to qualify. Even had 7 of the the 10 participants of the very first rally to Death Valley in 2009.

Thank you Fishmore for picking a location that easily handled the group. Thanks to MarcXP and Cort for putting in a 12 hour day cooking and serving the pig.

We really enjoyed ourselves. It is great to see the photos showing up. I'll go through mine and add them soon. Some participants will still be wandering for a bit so it is likely pictures will continue to be added for a while.

A little house keeping... Lost and found. MarcXP is missing a Wusthof knife about 10" long with a sheath. I am missing some reading glasses in a case. Both last seen on the table in MarcXP's camp Saturday.

Uh oh. Before I left I went to check on MarcXPs camp and there was already a large family moved in. Only Lawnmowerman and Smokecreek were left. Might be a while before they check in.

Lots of people contributed. MarkBC had name tags for all us. Ted did some very nice signage. I think it was Bill who brought window decals for all. Marty slaved all day over his onion soup while I just brought out a tub of Potato Salad. I'm saving the pig pics for last. Marc and crew were fantastic there.
