FYI on the toll charge. I think you have a month to pay on line,so no need to get to it as you travel.At least that's the way we have done it for the Golden Gate bridge.

Looks like you had a nice trip. The museum in Independence is well worth the stop and we enjoyed breakfast at Jenny's a few weeks ago. I remember my Dad taking me to Manzanar for the first time in the 1950's. I am pleased there is now a visitors center to tell the story. Great photos of the wave. Toll roads? Too many people and scary for us. Bear and moose are so much easier to deal with. Glad you had a good trip.
