We upgraded to the remote version for over the bed - never could keep straight which buttons did what without crawling under the fan and shining a light.

Our 5 year old model 00-05100K needs a new home. It's in fine working order. The casement that it slides into is new as I just slid our new fan into the old casement in the roof.

Shipping to SF or LA runs about $30 to $35 with On-Trac. We travel a lot, so a hand-off somewhere could work.
