I am starting a quest for a popup camper for my '06 Tacoma TRD.  I have managed to locate two older Palomino Mini-L popup campers, and was wondering if anyone has had any expirience with them.  I have heavy duty springs on the rear of my Tacoma, to replace the absolutely flat stock OEM(36K miles) that it had on it.  So my capacity has gone up about 700#, according to General Springs Company.  The Mini-L seems to be within a good weight range.  I realise that I will have place something under it to lift it, so that the cabover clears the roof of my Tacoma, but that seems to be about it.

Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about the Mini-Ls?

TIA

We looked at Palomino campers when first considering a pop up. My impression was that they are not going to standup to anything of subsequence off pavement. There's a thread here that lists used campers. Personally, I would look for a used ATC or FWC.
