Attached is a picture from camping this week inside the Beltway, DC. It is hard to believe a western style national park campground exists inside the Beltway within walking distance of the Metro. Sixteen dollars a night (8 with the Golden Age) is a whole lot better than the standard DC hotel 400 buckeroos a night.

I camped there as a kid in my parents' Argosy TT, but didn't know it was still there. Thanks for the pic and the inspiration. I think it's now about time to take my own kids camping in DC.
