Don't count your "snow flakes before they land".
I think that's an old proverb.

Wow, I can't add that high- what's the total possible accumulation? Looks like you're gonna put that snow blowing machine to good use. I'm heading up to Tofte MN for my annual cross country skiing trip. They've had 34 inches of snow over the past week, something close to 6 feet for the season. Although temps are forecast to be warm- mid-30s- should be good skiing in the woods.
I guess winter is giving us a last chance for enjoyment.

If I add all the max totals together it equals 4.5 feet.
Have fun skiing! We may get out Sunday to help teach an avalanche class field session. Yes, timely.

With the big snowstorm forecast for the Sierras and other Western areas, it's amazing that today is the last day of [meteorological] winter!
But meteorologists pack super-computers, so I ain't gonna quibble with those dudes!
On the other hand, actually, it's not uncommon for the local ski area to hit their maximum snow depth in spring, even April. Warmer air holds more moisture...
Anyway, tomorrow is the first day of spring. 🌷

But March is a month is spring.!
Just sayin...
Absolutely Mr. BC! I've corrected my mistake and moved the post over to Spring where it belongs!
