Thought this would be the place for an answer to my question.  I recently purchased a 2011 hallmark ute with the molded rear end, not the storage boxes.  It is made for a 6.5 ft bed 3/4 or 1 ton truck.  I am looking to upgrade my truck(1st gen tundra) and get a 2017 or newer f350.  My question is will that camper be able to slide all the way in on the newer superdutys as they have a 6'9" bed length.  It should be fine but figured someone on this forum might know.  I emailed hallmark and haven't heard back, I'll give them a call tomorrow pending answers from this post.

Thanks in advance,

Tyler

Tyler, I can’t help with your question, but I’m sure others will have some ideas.

Welome to WTW.  Be sure and share some photos of your camper.

Welcome to the Hallmark Family!

I’m not sure I can answer your question as I’m not familiar with your particular model of camper. But even if you can’t slide it all the way forward and have a few inches to spare many people put a 2x there or even a 6x6 to keep the camper from sliding forward more than it should.

The other thing I will mention is that the newer Super Duties (17+) have dramatically different bed and cab heights than the previous models so you should compare your camper to the bed dimensions to see what, if any, mods need to be done.

One last note, Hallmark is not very good about returning emails. I would suggest a call.

Post some pictures when you get a chance!

I’m sure this has been answered by now, but just joined the hallmark site. I have a 2015 Ute XS. I have it on my Gmc 3509 SWA standard bed and fits perfectly.. I’m thinking it will not on the Ford as it was made for 6.5.... but certainly can be made to work just fine...

Thank you all for the input.  The camper fits on the truck but I had to make a platform to raise the camper and put longer bumpers on to move the camper back further.  Ended up working out just fine.
