For sale: Turnkey, expedition-ready 2016 Silverado crew cab 4x4 2500HD (gas 6.0L V8) with 8’ bed and 2017 heavily accessorized Grandby shell, located in Chapel Hill, NC. Asking $57,000 for combo unit (prefer not to separate; camper is factory installed on truck). Moving to an RV for our family of four.

Truck comes with 2.5” levelling kit, Fox shocks, aftermarket control arms, auto-locking rear diff, 220-amp alternator, underbody shields, hill-start assist, winch-ready Expedition One bumper, Cutting Edge Offroad grille, two-way Viper burglar alarm (on cab only), high-beam Diode Dynamics LEDs, Hella spotlights, wheel liners, Husky underseat storage, small safe, convenience package (tinted glass, rear camera etc), trailering equipment package (hitch, brake controller, trailering mirrors) and more. Truck is in like-new condition with less than 20k miles.

Camper is a 2017 FWC Grandby and includes:

Factory-installed cabover king slide-out bed

Engel 40quart top-loading 12/24v cooler/freezer (Model MR 040FC-UI)

Four mechanical jacks (never used)

Rollover couch/bed

Flush-mount stove upgrade

Roof Zamp Solar Panel 160 Watt

Portable Zamp Solar Panel 80 Watt

Zamp Solar Controller 30 Amps

Two deep cycle batteries for solar

8’ FIAMMA side awning/with light

Powered roof vent fan x2

Yakima roof tracks

Steel forged turnbuckles

Standard factory furnace and two propane tanks

Lockable Yakima roof racks

Cabella bedside organizer

Ax mount inside cab

Two custom locking, powder-coated jerry can mounts (bolted to jack brackets and camper underside)

Three Wavian jerry cans with spigots (so water can be accessed without having to remove jerry cans from mounts) – for a total of 66 liters potable water. Lasts our family 3-4 days with conservative use.

Custom 3-drawer maple cabinet

Custom wood pantry box

Easy-Hitch adjustable rear steps

Shovel and shovel mount

Marine teak table and Lagun mount - a $500 value

The gross weight of the entire rig with full tank of gas, water, supplies, two kids, and one adult is 9380 lbs (last weighed 7-16-20: steer axle 4420, drive axle 4960). GVWR is 9,900 lbs on this model Silverado https://media.chevro.../2016.tab1.html. We bought the truck and camper from an elderly couple in Tennessee last Nov (all paperwork available). They used it for one trip out West. We put four weekend trips on the rig this year—very enjoyable, but for our longer-term plans, we will need something bigger. The rig is accident-free, with a clean title and no lien. Contact me for pics (mine are all too big to upload here) video walkaround, or more information at christian.simon@duke.edu
